A Dark Fantasy Actual Play · Rovaksole

Meet the Party

In the shadow of the Rocky Mountains, beneath clouds that never quite clear, a small clan of adventurers gathers around the table. Guided by Dungeon Master Graham Glass, Mile High Dragons has spent the last two years traversing the haunted world of Rovaksole: A Shadowed Horizon — a realm forged from Graham's imagination and five years of restless worldbuilding.

What began as a handful of novices daring to roll their first dice has become a saga of courage, chaos, and consequence. Each session drags us deeper into the dark — where choices carve destinies, and laughter echoes between moments of terror. We play not for perfection, but for immersion: three sacred hours every other week, lost to the world, found in another.

The horizon is shadowed — and we walk toward it.

Keeper of the World
Graham Glass, Dungeon Master of Mile High Dragons, depicted as a horned minotaur amid candlelight and arcane symbols
Dungeon Master

Graham "the Ram" Glass

The architect of Rovaksole and the voice of everything in it. Over five years of restless worldbuilding, Graham built a continent with nine eras of history, warring city-states, and gods with grudges — then spent two years guiding the party through it, three hours at a time. Every monster, NPC, and cruel twist of fate at the table is his. He plays the world straight, lets the dice land where they fall, and keeps the dark coming.

Those Who Walk Toward It
Drax the Red Reaper, an orc barbarian of Mile High Dragons, with glowing red eyes and a fiery axe
Orc Barbarian

Drax the Red Reaper

When the plan falls apart — and it always does — Drax answers with rage and a greataxe. He carries Storm Fang, a Javelin of Lightning pried from a hidden cellar, and a hard-won knowledge of Crimson Bone corruption and the mutations it leaves behind. Reckless, loyal, and first through every door.

Luna the Cleric of Mile High Dragons, a hooded sorceress channeling purple magical energy
Cleric

Luna the Cleric

A former adventurer who once traveled beside the paladin Brooke, Luna is haunted by a recurring nightmare — a bloodied companion and a pair of yellow eyes burning with rage — and driven to find the friends she lost. Her faith heals the party, but her quiet dealings (a secret temple meeting with Adriel, whispers of Tiamat) suggest she's carrying more than she lets on.

Andre the Giant Dark Elf of Mile High Dragons, in dark armor wielding purple and green magic
Warlock

Andre the Giant Dark Elf

Andre's power comes at a price he's still negotiating with his patron, Hex, often mid-fight. Following the Astral Lynx through visions of Rash, he stumbled into the role of unlikely parent — guardian of a glowing, mysterious egg gifted with the words "this orphan needs a parent." His Eldritch Blast snaps out like a lightning javelin.

Primo Balduchi the rogue of Mile High Dragons, a hooded archer in dark armor with a quiver of arrows
Rogue

Primo Balduchi

A human rogue running errands for the Harvester family, Primo sees trouble before anyone else — his mechanical eye spotted a distant dragon long before it mattered. Quick with a sneak arrow and quicker with a bad idea, he fights from the edges and lands the shot that counts. His mother, Fiona, and her worsening condition are never far from his mind.

The journey is long, the light is dim, and the dice decide all.
